STUDENT AMBASSADORS ADVISORS
Paul Campbell
"I am the Senior Assistant Director of Admissions for Visitation. I am a 2004 JMU alumnus with my Master’s Degree, and have been working at JMU since 1994. I have worked all across campus in my over 25 years, including stops in Athletics, Dining Services, Alumni Relations and others before landing here in the Office of Admissions. In this role I am privileged to work with amazing students, including as an advisor to the Student Ambassadors. I work with prospective students who visit JMU’s campus from all over the world, both in person and virtually, and serve as the Admissions Counselor for the Great Lakes region (Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota).
I am married to a Triple Duke with three(!) JMU degrees who also works on campus, and we live right in Old Town, close to campus, where we love staying close to downtown Harrisonburg and all the amazing events and activities available." Favorites Things

“I am the Admissions Counselor for On-Campus Outreach in the Office of Admissions. I am a 2018 JMU alumnus with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies, and minored in Political Communication.
JMU runs deep in my family as my husband, aunt, cousin, and brother-in-law are also proud JMU alums. I’ve worked in the Office of Admissions since 2020. As a regional recruiter I cover the Southern states… aka WV, KY, TN, GA, AL, MS, AR, LA and OK. Within my role I get to work with many prospective students that come here to visit campus and also talk to students virtually. I am very honored to serve as an advisor for our amazing Student Ambassadors. Our Student Ambassadors truly do make a positive impact on our prospective students by giving the best tour experience!” Favorites Things
